Getting Started with Midjourney's New Web Interface

Hello and welcome to exploring new AI tools. This post will look at Midjourney's web version. It offers a simple way use Midjourney. You don't need to remember commands like in Discord. Midjourney has changed a lot since it started. It creates amazing AI images now. Each version has good points. The image quality is incredible today. Using the Web Interface

The web interface is easy to use. At the top, you see the prompt bar. You can type your prompt there. You can also use past images as style examples. This makes things simple.

Image Settings

On the left of the prompt bar is the settings button. Here you can change:

• Image size and aspect ratio (using a visual slider).

• Generation mode (standard or raw).

• Model version (from newest to oldest).

• Personalization code (a unique setting for you).

On the right side of the settings, you can change the aesthetics. Sliders make this easy. You don't need to remember numbers. Just drag the slider for the look you want.

Speed Options

Below the aesthetics, you find speed options:

• Fast: The usual generation speed.

• Turbo: Much faster. Uses fast hours twice as quickly. You generate fewer images with this speed.

Exploring the Left Sidebar

Let's look at the menu on the left side.

Explorer

This section shows featured images from the community. You can see other people's great work here.

Create

This is like your personal place. You see your recent images on the left section. On the right, you see the prompt and settings used for that image.

Organize

Here you see all your images in a list. You can make folders to group your images. This helps you find your creations faster.

Personalized

A good point about the web version is that your images are made privately. They don't get lost in busy public rooms. You can also get help from the community here.

Tasks

This is a new section. You can do tasks to get free hours. You can fill out surveys or rate images, among other tasks. This is a great way to earn time for more image creation.

Help

At the bottom of the left sidebar, you find help options. You can see guides to start, how-to documents for features, video guides, and more.

Updates

This section shows the latest news about Midjourney. It is updated often.

Looking Closer at the Create Section

In the Create section, you see your recent images. Click an image to see it better and get options. If you right-click an image, you get four choices:

• Open the image in a new tab.

• Save it.

• Copy it.

• Copy the image web address.

On the bottom right, you see options like vary, upscale, zoom out, and editor. You also get three new options: use the image as a reference, use it as a style example, or use the same prompt again.

A menu with more options is also available. These include vary, upscale, remix, and pan.

At the top of the right panel, you see the prompt used for the image. You also see all settings applied. A menu for the image has more options too. You can copy, report, download, hide the image, or open it in Discord.
